A Computer can only be as fast as data can be accessed and manipulated off of the Hard Drive.  This Computer Utilizes separate Hard drives for system files and Data storage.

The Data Storage Drive is a 1TB Seagate Barracuda.  The Drive is connected on a  SATA II connection which transfers data at 3GB, the drive spins at 7200rpm and has a 32mb read cache (standard IDE drives transfer data at speeds of 66mhz to 133mhz. and spin at 5400 or 7200rpm and have a read cache of 2mb or 8mb) Add a second 1TB Seagate Barracuda for either expanded storage space or data redundancy (+$125)

The System Drive is the drive that stores and runs all the programs and applications.  For fast applications, we need a drive that can find the information quickly, so this computer houses a 150GB Western Digital VelociRaptor This drive spins at 10,000rpm for super fast response, and transfers data across the board at 300mhz.  Add a second VelociRaptor for either performance or redundancy (+$200) or upgrade to 300GB VelociRaptor (+$75 each)

5 Year Manufactures Warranty

Every Computer comes with CD drives.  This one Comes with a Blue Ray Burner.  If you are not ready to burn Blue Ray discs save $100 and downgrade to a Blue Ray reader/DVD burner.  Or save $150 and downgrade to a standard DVD burner.  Additional DVD burners $50 each

Digital Media is now a common household item.  Most people now have digital cameras.  But how do you get the pictures from the camera to the computer to your e-mail or printer?  Very easy, just pop your memory card in the all-in-one card reader, and presto your images can now be transferred to your computer, no additional parts required.   And for those of you who still use 1.44mb floppy disks, A disk drive is included as well   (a $30 option on most Dell computers)

(please be sure to tell me what type of flash card your camera uses, to be sure I use parts that will be compatible with your camera)
